The GOP’s Politics of Farce: Reince Priebus, Curly Haugland… and how the voters feel

Gallery of Shame: The GOP Establishment

Hell broke loose yesterday after Senior GOP Official, Curly Haugland, stated that the GOP picks the nominee, not the voters.

Haugland even questioned the value of holding primaries! Here are his statements (March 16 Audio – CNBC “Squawk Box” with Becky Quick):

Reince Priebus, the head of the Republican National Committee (RNC), stepped in to do damage control, which amounted to simply more of the same farce.

That the GOP is “playing above board.”

That the GOP is being “transparent.”

That Curly Haugland’s explanation “was very good and it is fair.”

Here is Priebus’s farce (March 16 Audio – Sean Hannity on Fox):

NOW… let me translate this for you.

What Reince Priebus is saying is very simple: We at the GOP are not going to let Republican voters choose who they want. We’re going to keep John Kasich in the game as our piranha  (Kasich is funded by George Soros!) so he can keep tearing off pieces of Donald Trump’s support– even though Kasich doesn’t have a chance in Hell to make it as POTUS (and that’s just one of our dirty tactics). Then, if Trump falls short of the magic number of delegates (1,237)– we will put in the guy that WE in the GOP want for a nominee.

Some of you who are too afraid to challenge the status quo will say, Oh, but those are the GOP rules! To which I say, really? Have you considered the pressure that may have already been placed on delegates, should the vote on the Convention floor go for a second round? Now, at this point, I expect that you will be smart enough to figure out what the filthy element in the GOP establishment may be up to.

Ask yourselves, if the members of the corrupt GOP establishment want to keep things soooooo transparent, and soooooo above board— why did they have to discuss “how to stop Trump” during a secret meeting held a few days ago at an island resort off the coast of Georgia?

If the members of the GOP establishment are so “above aboard” and “fair”– why do they have to come up with a PLOT to “stop Trump”?

Here’s a quote from an article by Maya Kosoff in Vanity Fair titled “Tech C.E.O.s Held a Secret Meeting with Top Republicans to Stop Trump,” published on March 8, 2016 at 9:42 AM:

“The most powerful people in the technology sector, along with other billionaires and top Republicans, flew to a small island off the coast of Georgia last weekend to attend a secretive forum, where they discussed, among other things, how to keep current Republican front-runner Donald Trump from winning the party’s presidential nomination, the Huffington Post reports.

Among the cabal of tech C.E.O.s who met at the remote Sea Island Resort for the American Enterprise Institute’s annual World Forum were Apple C.E.O. Tim Cook, Tesla Motors and SpaceX C.E.O. Elon Musk, Napster C.E.O. Sean Parker, and Google co-founder Larry Page. Top Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senator Tom Cotton, and Karl Rove also attended the forum, as did billionaire G.O.P. donor Philip Anschutz and New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger.

Trump, the billionaire real estate developer who has won a plurality of delegates so far in the Republican presidential primary, threatening to lock up the nomination, was the main topic of conversation. “A specter was haunting the World Forum—the specter of Donald Trump,” Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol wrote in an e-mailed report from the forum.”

Donald Trump is breaking up the corrupt GOP mafia– and the members of the GOP establishment, like all mafiosi, will not stand for it. So, at a time like this, when our freedom is at stake, when our country is immersed in uncontrolled socialist public policies– we need to take a deep breath, stay strong and get ready– because we don’t have time for totally irrelevant people like Reince Priebus and company!

In fact, these two absolutely lovely ladies express exactly how we feel:

It’s time to lift the fog… someone has to say the truth.
