Thanksgiving Day

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

On this special day, I wish peace and many blessings to my readers in the United States and around the world. My heartfelt gratitude is also extended to all those who visit this website– and for the wonderful messages that I receive.

As always, I continue to pray for my readers and their families in war-torn regions and newly-freed regions in the Middle East. I am humbled and thankful for their readership, in spite of the great obstacles created by violence and war.

Please pray for the victims of abortion and communism– who today do not enjoy a place at the Thanksgiving table in these United States of America.

Someone has to say the truth…

There’s no excuse. Make yourself a strong pot of coffee or tea and catch up on what’s surrounding you. I’ve tried to include a musical interlude and some lighthearted small posts, to lift you up along the way…

Greetings from Washington DC on Memorial Day 2016

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

I wish all my readers and their loved ones a blessed and peaceful Memorial Day. I am in Washington DC, a great place to remember and honor our fallen heroes.

I must say that it is impressive to see the capital of our great nation filled with thousands of patriotic Americans, as well as foreigners, who are here to pay their respects for those who gave their lives so that we would not suffer oppression. It is significant to note that this city is also filled today with thousands of Trump supporters everywhere– who also came to hear him speak in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Indeed, an unforgettable event.
May God bless the United States of America and the members of our extraordinary Armed Forces.
Be filled with faith and pride. The best days for our nation are yet to come!

Music for a Friday afternoon…

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

On this beautiful Friday afternoon in the Spring, I want to share Narciso Yepes playing Romanza– an anonymous piece written for the Spanish guitar.

Anonymous music compositions and literary works (fiction) of artistic merit are the only anonymous written creations I am willing to accept.

As such, I consider that anonymous political and Catholic bloggers contribute to the undermining of our God-given right to freedom of speech– for which so many have given their lives, including members of my family who were tortured, imprisoned and executed– because they openly opposed and fought against Communism in Cuba.

With this important message in mind… enjoy this beautiful performance:

It’s time to lift the fog… someone has to say the truth.
